Julie and Larkin - Ashton Gardens

Team Awesome. This is how Julie and Larkin approach their relationship, marriage and life as a whole. Having known Julie for a number of years, I was very excited when she asked me to assist in documenting their wedding day and the start of a new chapter in their lives together. Both Julie and Larkin are incredibly kind, down-to-earth and fun to hang out with. This was exactly the feel of their January wedding a few weeks ago. After preparations and photos at the Payne-Corley House, the couple proceeded to get hitched and party at Ashton Gardens a few miles away. What a beautiful wedding to start out the new year. Ashley and James - Gibbs Gardens

Ashley and James celebrated one of the first weddings to be held at the newly-opened Gibbs Gardens. Their wedding day was filled with all sorts of cool details, centered around the theme of their favorite song - Blake Shelton's 'Honey Bee'. What a beautiful evening shared under the garden big tent and a big congrats to Mr and Mrs Heintz!

Jennifer and David - King Plow Arts Center

It is the end of July. Guests begin to enter through the doors of the historic King Plow Arts Center. Behind them in the backyard, Jennifer and David are having a blast with photos on swings and dances in their own private restaurant. What a fun wedding day and couple! To top it off, we had an all-star vendor list with Melissa Prosser Photography and Ashley Baber Weddings behind the scenes. Bailey and Henley - St. Philips Cathedral and Piedmont Driving Club

Bailey and Henley tied the knot at the beautiful Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta.  As is sometimes the case in May, weather was a little wet but that did not stop the couple from getting some great shots under the covered walkway outside. The party was held at the Piedmont Driving Club where Bailey and Henley danced the night away with friends and family all sporting custom sunglasses for the occasion.

Kavitha and Prashanth - Ritz Carlton Buckhead

Kavitha and Prashanth were married at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead. What a beautiful day! We started with preparations and the Baraat at 7am which led into their ceremony in the amazing main ballroom. Shooting once again with the talented Aharon Hill, we were treated to not one but two photo sessions - one in the traditional ceremonial dress and another in the afternoon with evening attire. One of the main highlights of the evening was a series of heartfelt toasts, concluded by Prashanth himself. Definitely one of the most touching Groom's speeches I have heard. Brooke and Spencer - King Plow Wedding

Brooke and Spencer celebrated their marriage at King Plow Arts Center. They are both very in tune to art and detail which reflected in every aspect of their ceremony and reception. From the bicycle themed name cards to the fingerprint tree ‘signed’ by each of their guests, there were details to capture at every corner. Brooke was interested in using the look of 16mm film throughout the wedding film. While shot on DSLR, we were able to add this look selectively through the use of special filters modeled after this retro look.
